This is considered a Labour seat at risk because of Brexit. Labour won won this seat at the last election with a majority of 7617 over the C candidate. However, 31129 voted for Brexit in the 2016 referendum here. That represents 62% of the voters in this constituency. Because some of these people might defect to the Tories, it is absolutely crucial to get out the Labour vote to hold onto this seat. Every vote matters, especially here! Every vote going to the Greens or to other small parties risks losing this seat to the Tories or the Brexit Party.
